Criminal Justice Sciences

The criminal justice minor at Illinois State gives you a basic foundation in law enforcement, courts, and corrections.

Our program focuses on learning from a social science perspective. As a student, you'll get an in-depth understanding of human behavior and the circumstances that often lead to crime.

You'll also gain skills that are beneficial in criminal justice and other fields.

Why Study Criminal Justice Sciences?

A criminal justice minor can be useful as a supplement to several majors. You'll get a basic understanding of the criminal justice field and gain skills that will be helpful in any future career, such as:

Minors can only be declared by current Illinois State students. Current students can use the Apply to Your Program tool on My.IllinoisState.edu.
