In order to prioritize classes for majors and to keep their graduation plans on track, the Department of Criminal Justice Sciences regrets that it is unable to consider admitting additional minors at this time. We will continue to monitor enrollment and course availability, so that we may resume enrolling minors in the future.
Students currently in the minor will be allowed to continue progressing towards its completion.
Majors are given priority during registration so that they may make timely progress towards graduation. Minors are encouraged to consider taking CJS courses during the summer when there are no major blocks on classes.
CJS Courses are major blocked for the first parts of fall and spring registration. There are no major blocks for summer courses. If a class is full, you may request an override using the procedure below.
You will need to make your override request online through My.IllinoisState.edu. The online request form will be under the Academics tab in the Course Manager section. Please do not send an email to the advisors for an override into any CJS class or any other ISU course. CJS advisors can only grant overrides for CJS courses.
