Students interested in applying for a graduate assistantship should use the Graduate Research Assistant or Graduate Practicum. Graduate assistants help with faculty research, support faculty with the administration of undergraduate courses, and help supervise student testing.
Typically each assistant is assigned to two faculty members, each for ten hours per week. Some graduate assistants can be placed with criminal justice agencies as part of their assistantship (Practicum). Practicum students work twenty hours per week, including days while school is not in session.
